Application for Funds
Those residents affected by the Heartstrong Fire may now apply for assistance from the Heartstrong Fire Relief Fund. Simply download the application form, complete it, and drop it off at the Yuma Pioneer office in Yuma. The Pioneer office also has application forms available. You may also email a completed form to Crystal Frank at cfrank@colofb.com Applications will be kept strictly confidential.
The fire has endangered humans, livestock, structures and homes and left a large a swath of destruction in its wake.
Colorado Farm Bureau Foundation has established an agricultural disaster fund to help those in need, but we need your help. Farmers and ranchers lost miles of fencing, hay and grass and they need your help.
All donations will be distributed to those farmers and ranchers affected by the destruction.
The CFB Foundation is a 501 (c)(3) charitable foundation with a catastrophic disaster fund dedicated to assisting farmers and ranchers in need following agricultural disasters such as blizzard, flood or wildfire. The fund was initially established to assist farmers and ranchers in southwest Colorado following devastating blizzards of 2007.
