A:In accordance with the Internal Revenue Service tax codes and regulations, $15 of CFB’s annual Producer member dues are NON-DEDUCTIBLE as a business expense. Please consult with your tax advisor.

A: CFB Membership data is considered personal and confidential and as such may only be accessed by CFB and our agents. Your personal information will not be provided to any “mailing lists.”

Q: How long does it take for me to receive my CFB Materials after I apply?
A: From the time you submit your application, it can take up to 4-6 weeks to receive your full membership materials.
Q: I applied for membership online but I haven’t heard anything. What’s going on?
A: You will recieve your membership card within a few weeks of submitting your membership application.
Q: How long is my membership good for?
A. Memberships are due annually and set up with a membership date. For example: a new member signed up on June 10, 2012 would have their dues paid through June 30, 2013 before they would have to renew.
Q: What is the difference between Basic and Producer Memberships?
A: Producer Memberships have all the benefits of Basic Membership except they also may vote in delegate sessions and receive the CFB Monthly newsletter, be involved in grassroots policy development, receive regular legislative updates, along with other benefits.
Q: Who is eligible for Producer Memberships in the Colorado Farm Bureau?
A: Any farmer or rancher in the state of Colorado, or anyone who owns agricultural land in Colorado.
Q: Does Colorado Farm Bureau offer a “Family Membership?”
A: Farm Bureau memberships are on a family basis. Both husband and wife are members and can carry insurance under the membership. Children under the age of 18 (as well as those in their early 20′s as long as they are enrolled in college) can have insurance under their parent’s membership.
Q: I just joined online, when will I get my CFB member number?
A: Your CFB membership card including your number will arrive within the next couple of weeks.
Q: What is the Colorado Way of Life magazine?
A: The Colorado Way of Life is a bi-monthly publication that is published by Colorado Farm Bureau. It is free to all members. It consists of articles about agricultural issues, as well as current agricultural events that are affecting Colorado.
